The property is located in Richmond borough. It has a large garden facing the London wetland centre at the back which is an urban oasis for wildlife. The garden was very neglected and overgrown with a beautiful old pear tree and a pergola at the back. The client requested a green white palette with flower borders.

The back garden around the pear tree is laid with gravel with the seating area under the pergola. The old roses on the pergola were pruned back and left to cover it. The bed of white hydrangea, silver leaf eucalyptus and grasses at the front now create a cosy relaxing sanctuary.
