This new extension of a house in Maida Vale created the opportunity for this young family to have a roof terrace. The ‘borrowed views’ of mature trees from the surrounding gardens  offered depths and the perfect setting to create a pleasant sunny garden surrounded by climbing plants decorating the fence. Terracotta pots with a variety of summer pink Cosmos and a variety of pink Geraniums placed next to the cast iron staircase leading to the kitchen. The fresh herbs planted in the pots are hand reach from the kitchen.
