The small roof terrace in this Chelsea house was the only available space to create a garden that would open to the living room and the two bedrooms. The design incorporated a selection of evergreen olive trees, which provide height and shade, fragrant lavender, and summer flowers and jasmine that act as a magnet for city wildlife, providing an exciting extension of the living spaces. Trellises were placed to provide privacy from the surrounding building and a set of antique bistro table with chairs was added to enjoy the space.
